2016 Pink Ribbon Affair raises more than $140,000 for life-saving breast health services

Thank you to the more than 200 supporters who joined us for an evening of hope, raising more than $140,000 to provide life-saving breast health services in Nebraska.

The second annual Pink Ribbon Affair was held Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Hilton Omaha. Guests enjoyed a six-course food and wine pairing experience, featuring HandCraft Wines, with winemaker Cheryl Indelicato. Cheryl spoke of her personal commitment to finding a cure and provided insight into the wines selected for each course.

Your generosity means that Nebraskans — our neighbors, friends, and family — can access critical education, screening and treatment support services for those facing a breast health issue or breast cancer diagnosis. Because no one should fear a breast cancer diagnosis, your support also benefits research for finding the cures.

We’ve made tremendous strides over the past three decades, leading to a 99 percent survival rate for those diagnosed with early stage breast cancer. But there’s still more work to do. Nearly 24 Nebraska women are diagnosed with breast cancer each week and four of those women lose their lives.

Thank you for bringing hope for a future without breast cancer!
