Applications are now available for 2017-2018 Community Grants
Susan G. Komen® Nebraska is pleased to announce the release of the Applications for its 2017-2018 community grants.
Community grant funds are available to support local non-profit organizations that provide breast health and/or breast cancer education, screening, treatment, and survivor support services. Projects that specifically address breast health needs in Saunders, Douglas, and Custer, Dawson, and Lincoln counties will be given high consideration; however, all breast health projects that meet the outlined criteria are welcome.
Applicants may request funding from $5,001 up to $100,000 for one year for projects running from April 2017 to March 2018. Applicants seeking less than $5,000 should refer to the Komen Nebraska Small Grants Program here.
Applications for 2017-2018 Community Grants are due December 2, 2016 by 5:00 pm CST. Komen Nebraska strongly encourages applicants to attend one of two grant writing workshops:
- Tuesday, October 18, 2016 12:00-1:00pm CST
- Tuesday, November 1, 2016 5:30-6:30 pm CST
These workshops will be held at the Komen Nebraska office, located at 8707 W Center Road, Suite 101, Omaha, and via webinar. Please RSVP for one of these two workshops here. All grant proposals must be submitted online through the Grants e-Management System (GeMS): https://affiliategrants.komen.org.
