Breast Cancer Action Month
Every week, 6 people in our region die of breast cancer. This is #unacceptable!
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is here and we have a Bold Goal to reduce the current number of breast cancer deaths by 50 percent in the U.S. by 2026. Funds raised locally are crucial for local breast health education programs, community programs and national research initiatives.
We encourage you to take ACTION this month. See the below links to events, activities and other ways to take action.
OCTOBER 13TH IS NATIONAL METASTATIC BREAST CANCER AWARENESS DAY. The majority of deaths from breast cancer are due to breast cancers that have spread to the lungs, liver, brain or bones. This is known as stage IV or Metastatic Breast Cancer.
