Request for Applications now available for 2016-2017 Community Grants
Susan G. Komen® Nebraska is pleased to announce the release of the Request for Applications for its 2016-2017 community grants.
Community grant funds are available to support local non-profit organizations that provide breast health and/or breast cancer education, screening, treatment, and survivor support services. Projects that specifically address breast health needs in Saunders, Douglas, and Custer, Dawson, and Lincoln counties will be given high consideration; however, all breast health projects that meet the outlined criteria are welcome.
Applicants may request funding from $5,001 up to $100,000 for one year for projects running from April 2016 to March 2017. Applicants seeking less than $5,000 should refer to the Komen Nebraska Small Grants RFA here.
Applications for 2016-2017 Community Grants are due December 4, 2015 by 5:00 pm CST. Komen Nebraska strongly encourages applicants to attend one of two grant writing workshops:
- Tuesday, October 27, 2015 5:30-7:00 pm CST
- Tuesday, November 10, 2015 5:30-7:00 pm CST
These workshops will be held at the Komen Nebraska office, located at 12103 Pacific Street, Omaha, and via webinar. Please RSVP for one of these two workshops here.
